The children have been making some wonderful creations with playdough, dried orange pieces and flowers. The open-ended nature of all these resources allows children the freedom and opportunity to be imaginative, investigate and explore whatever their creative mind dream up. Playdough is a wonderful resource to open the lines of communication. Adding in loose parts such as these, enhances collaboration and conversation, promoting social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication as well as sensory engagement.
