At StartBright children having ownership over their environments is very important to us. We want to encourage children to be independent, so create a culture of autonomy and agency.

To promote this independence one of the first things we look at is putting on and taking off our own coats. Being able to do this task empowers children to move between spaces, plan for their needs and interests and feel confident.

Why not give some time for practicing this as we get ready to return or start back at StartBright.
