This is why we love STEAM at StartBright. The after schoolers in St. Ronan’s have discovered how to make their own beyblades using nuts and bolts. They have trialed many variations from design elements to how to move their hands to get the right amount of spin. Not only are the developing their Essential 21st Century Skills but they are incorporating science, engineering, art and maths into their everyday occurrences. The healthy competition within the group is creating and cementing friendships allowing them to develop their social skills and leadership skills. Innovation at its best!
